Today was just awesome. Our great friends got us free tickets to Disney World. We started off our day with a trip to Steak N Shake where I got a guacamole chicken burger and a mint oreo shake. It was divine. Our waitress was cute and super sweet. It ruled. I had a mini crush for the 45 minutes that we were there. After lunch we drove the the Animal Kingdom. There we rode Expedition Everest and...

Somehow I drove 4 hour to Jacksonville today. I was very tired. Thank you Monster Mocha Java drink and good music playlist (op ivy, suicide machines, the hippos, living with lions, like lions, alkaline trio… ) for waking me up.
My chest has been feeling a bit weird lately. I get this feeling in my upper chest like I’m hungry but my stomach feels absolutely full. My body is confused or...

Me, Josh, Johnny and a few friends broke into an apartment complex swimming pool last night around 1AM. I forgot how awesome swimming is. We had a cannon ball contest off of some ledge near the pool and chilled in the hot tub for a bit.
Today we drove from Dallas to Houston. It was an easy drive (about 4 hours). We are now at the show and we are playing in the small room. It is going to be...

I haven’t been updating lately. I have been keeping myself preoccupied with driving, watching movies, writing music, and just hanging out. I’m currently in Austin, TX at Emo’s. It is SOOOOOOOO hot. I’ll start updating again soon.

I woke up at the Miller’s house in LA. I Call Fives spent the night there before so we chilled with them for a couple of hours. We then drove to Sunset Blvd. and started loading in at The Key Club. A majority of the Hopeless Records staff came out to the show. Keith at Absolute Management also came out. Overall, I feel like we played very well. The show was very enjoyable. After we played we hung...

Yesterday I drove from 6AM until 11AM and then Soupy drove the last hour and a half. We then dined at the first In N Out that we saw. I got a burger, extra crispy fries, and a strawberry shake. We then finished the drive to San Francisco and loaded in at the venue. I then started what I thought would be a 2 mile run. That 2 mile run turned into 4 because I got incredibly lost. Thank god I found...

Started the day sweating my ass of in the van. This seems to be a pretty normal thing now. Woke up and walked down the street to Brendan’s house in Portland. Brendan bought us a ton of doughnuts from Voodoo which was very nice. I spent the morning and early afternoon chilling at his house doing wash, browsing the internet, watching Pete & Pete, showering, and relaxing. Even though we had...

I woke up in the van to the blistering heat and was just going to prop the door open for air, but that didn’t do any good. I grabbed my things and joined the rest of the band in Carmen’s house where I found everyone asleep. I took full advantage of the situation and took a shower. Showers are a rare thing to come by so when I have the opportunity to take one, I do. I browsed the...

Since we had a day off we decided that going to a water park in Boise, Idaho would be the best way to spend it. We were right. As lame as it sounds, I think I liked the lazy river more than the slides. The slides were intense but there is something special about just lying on a tube, going under waterfalls, bumping into other people, knocking your friends off their tubes, catching some sun, and...

I woke up at 4AM again to do what I like to call the “shit shift” drive. I couldn’t have been in a more boring place either. There is absolutely NOTHING in Wyoming. When I say NOTHING I mean NOTHING. I don’t get why anyone would want to live there unless the committed some awful crime and were trying to stay off the grid to evade the police. On this drive I listened the...

Sunday - July 4, 2010 Today we celebrated the 5 year anniversary of being a band. We played a headlining show at the Mad Hatter in Covington, KY. Fifteen songs were played and it was by far the longest set that we have ever done. After the show we lit off a bunch of fireworks and blew some stuff up. RAD! We were going to go to a pool party but it was getting late so we just decided to start our...

Drove the 7AM-11:30AM shift in the van this morning and listened to a plethora of CDs. I’ve watched so many movies in the past 3 days…. American Beauty, Cruel Intentions, Zombieland, and there was another that I can’t remember the name of… it was that bad. Today I bought Valkyrie because it was on sale at Best Buy for $6. Hopefully I’ll watch it tonight or tomorrow....

Tonight’s show in Chicago is sold out which is pretty rad. Unfortunately some people who didn’t like us decided to throw things at us while we were on the stage. Half a drink was thrown directly on my pedals (hopefully they won’t be messed up tomorrow). Josh got pelted in the head with a half-full water bottle. Shirts, shoes, and glow sticks were also some of the things thrown at...
