Hey Matt. It was great seeing you guys again last night in Philly! I traveled all the way from Penn State and it was totally worth the four hour drive. Eighth time seeing you guys and I'm sure you recognize me haha I pointed at you from the crowd and you pointed back. Thank you for putting on such a great set! And I'll see you again in Sayreville since I'm going to that show too! Do you think you guys will ever press "Living Room Song" on like a 7" or something? Because I'd love to have a copy!
Thanks for making the trek. I will see you in a few days. I’m really excited for Sayreville. The Starland Ballroom is such an awesome venue. I doubt will will ever press “Living Room Song.” It’s just on our Japanese Release of Suburbia.
Hey, how long have you been playing guitar? And what made you want to switch from the drums to guitar after the premier died down and TWY started to get bigger
I have been playing guitar for about 9 or 10 years but have only been taking it seriously for about the past 5 years. We started The Wonder Years as a joke so I didn’t think I’d ever be playing guitar full-time. It just kind of happened.
Have you guys ever or ever plan on playing "I Got Scared and I'm Sorry" live? It's one of my favorite songs. Also "My Life As Rob Gordon." I love the Movielife reference. Just curious. I guess that's what I get for liking all the bonus tracks. Haha :p
We have played “I’m Scared and I’m Sorry” live a lot in the past. We will probably never play “My Life As Rob Gordon” live because it’s a B-side but who knows.
MATT, i have been trying to find a wonder years hoodie online for the last 30 min. everywhere is sold out completely or just in my size. really awesome but i still want a hoodie!! haha see you guys in chicago! -DUSTIN
Sup man! I don't know if you remember. But back in May (May 7th, i believe.), you guys played at The Brewery here in Raleigh, NC. It was the last day of the Manscout Jamboree. Anyways, they tore it down over the summer :/ Just thought i'd let you know. Seeing you guys there was the best night of my life, and i'll never forget it. The Brewery may be gone, but i'll always remember. Cheers!
That was a fun show. I’m glad that you had such an amazing night. You coming to the show tonight in Charlotte?
I saw one person asking for the Living Room Song chords. I'm pretty sure it's E then some sort of B then A(for the chorus and verse). And for the 'if the world ends part it goes up to C# then B then A. Also, I think the guitar is tuned down half a step. I'm not a creep, I just like guitar, yo.
I’m assuming this is right but I really have no idea. You could say that I was playing in Z# and I’d probably believe you (not really but you get the point). You are right about us tuning down a half step though.
Here is the answer for the dude that asked me earlier.
