Friday - June 24, 2011 (Dallas, TX)
Today was the first day of Warped Tour. It was such an unreal day. I woke up at 6:45AM to sort merch but felt the most awake I’ve felt in maybe years. I ate lunch with a few of the dudes from Relient K and they were super nice. I look forward to hanging with them in the future. We played at 5PM on the Nintendo DS stage. The set felt great and the crowd reaction was amazing. Thank you Dallas, TX. After load out, I got some steak and corn on the cob for dinner. I ate it while I watched Relient K. I’m glad that they have 3 guitar players because it makes me feel less awkward about our band having 3 guitar players. Late in the night I watched Against Me! Ive seen them twice now and have been blown away both times. I think they will become my favorite band to watch on Warped. After the show was complete I went to the bar-b-q and hung out with Steph from Hopeless Record. We have been kicking it all night. I feel great and am looking forward to tomorrow.
