TEXT

Wednesday - June 29, 2011 (Las Cruses, NM)

Thank god today’s Warped Tour Venue was in a grass field. It was a bit cooler because there was no heat projecting off of pavement. Today was the most relaxing day thus far on the tour. We had an early set time so I got to walk around and check out bands for the rest of the day. We did a signing/meet and greet at the AP tent and I met some young lady with a funny tattoo of Hello Kitty as the Virgin Mary. It made me chuckle. I then visited Kristin at the Fearless tent and got some shade. Later in the day I stumbled across a band by the name of Sharks’ set. They are an English rock/indie/punk band that sounds similar to the Clash. I’m going to find their tent tomorrow and grab a cd. If you’re going to Warped check them out on the Kevin Says stage.

While breaking down merch I met the 2 girls running the Moon City Records tent named Jayde and Kate. Bus call was early so we took off around ten and entertained ourselves with some Jurassic Park.
